Roy C. Wagster -
Roy C. Wagster, 74, of Raymond Road died Saturday morning at his home after an extended illness. Funeral: 2 p.m. Monday from Wright & Ferguson Chapel. Interment: Lakewood Memorial Park with Masonic Rites at the graveside.
Survivors: his wife, the former Deanie Prisock of Byram; one daughter, Mrs. Peggy Wilson of Mobile; one sister, Mrs. R. H. (Mary Francis) Harrell of Corpus Christi, Texas; one brother, Paul L. Wagster of Longview, Texas, five grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His son, Major Roy C. Wagster, Jr. U.S.A.F. preceded him in death in 1951.
He was a member of the Bryam Baptist Church and the Forest Hill Masonic Lodge No. 613 where he was past master and the Forest Hill Order of Eastern Star No. 342 where he was past patron. For 25 years he owned and operated the Siwell Grocery.
