CHAPMAN - BARRETT
The marriage of Miss Mamie Barrett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. S. Barrett, to Mr. Jack Chapman was beautiful solemnized on Sunday afternoon at three o'clock with Dr. W. H. Hill officiating with the impressive double ring ceremony in the presence of friends and relatives assembled in the horm of the bride's brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs. D. T. Gober, of Camden.
The service was said in the living room where exquisite fern fron cast a soft glow over the entire room where the guests were welcomed. Gladolia and larkspur of pastel shades were used to decorate the reception room.
The bride and bridegroom entered from opposite doorways. Miss Barrett was becomingly groomed for her wedding in a dress of blue crepe with acessories to match. The close fitting hat was of soft blue, and she carried an arm bouquet of pink rose buds.
After Dr. Mill performed the double ring ceremony Mrs. Gober entertained, with an informal reception.
Mrs. Chapman then changed into a dark ensemble with hat to match. After a short honeymoon trip the happy newlyweds will be at home on North West street, Jackson.
