Ted studied electrical engineering at Drexel University. Using his engineering skills, he was self- employed as a manufacturer's representative for multiple companies. He belonged to the Occupational Advisory Commitee for the Engineering and Robotics Program at the Technical College High School, Chester County Intermediate Unit. He was a member of Free and Accepted Masons, Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, and Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church. A proud veteran, he served his country in the US Army Air Force.
Surviving him are 3 children, Jill E. (Robert V.) Hevner, Douglas R. Asousa, Theodore C. (Judy) Asousa, Jr.; 4 sisters, Anise Bonner, Helen Cotumaccio, Gloria Kamph, Evelyn Meade; 2 grandchildren; Andrew Murray and Elizabeth Murray.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Sally Lynn Murray and a sister Jeanette MacCain.
A memorial service will be held at Chestnut Level Presbyterian Church – Family Life Center, 1068 Chestnut Level Road, Quarryville, PA on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11:00Am with Rev. John Hartman officiating. Interment will be held in Paoli Presbyterian Church Memorial Garden, 225 South Valley Road, Paoli, PA
