Ida J. Clark, daughter of David F. and Caroline Leibenguth Clark, was born Aug. 27, 1862, on the farm north of Mulberry now tenanted by Floyd Glick. In young womanhood she was married to John H. Wirt, a miller, of Mulberry. He died a few years after their marriage. Some years later she married Frank B. Elliott, also of Mulberry, in Florida. For a number of years this couple was prominent in the affairs of this town. About sixteen years ago they moved to San Diego, where they have since resided.
Surviving are the husband and three sisters, Mrs. Ella Lecklitner and Mrs. Nona Gable, of Frankfort, and Mrs. Lou Slipher, of Nappanee.
The funeral services were held Wednesday morning and the body was placed in a mausoleum at San Diego.
