Bernard Curtis Smith, 89. of Jasonville, died at 5 a.m. March 15, 1994, at his residence.
Born March 4, 1905 in Cloverland, he was the son of McDonald D. Smith and Zetta O. Lawson Smith.
He was a retired construction superintendent for W.D. Vogel Construction and Tri-State Construction, both of Indianapolis.
He was a member of F & AM Lodge 264 of Brazil, Scottish Rite and Murat Shrine of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Loreighn Carrico Smith of Jasonville; one son, Donald James Smith of Fort Wayne; one brother, McDonald Smith of West Virginia; two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Graveside services were conducted today at the Rule Cemetery in Clay was in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Shrine Children's Hospital of Indianapolis.
