William Rayvon Light, 69, of Grove City, died May 28, 2014 with family by his side. Ray was born April 18, 1945 in Meadows of Dan, Virginia. He retired from Big Bear Stores in 2003 after 39 years, mainly as Superintendent of the Big Bear Grocery Warehouse. He was a long time member of the 4S Club and The American Legion Southway Post 144. Ray enjoyed cooking, spending time with friends at the 4S Club and taking care of his '96 Mustang Cobra. He is preceded in death by a brother, a sister and his long time companion Becky Lou Slone. Ray leaves behind two brothers and four sisters; his sons, John Light, Brett Light and Richard (Meagan) Light; five grandchildren and two great-grandsons. A celebration of Ray's life will be held at 6 p.m. on June 6, 2014 at the 4S Club, 281 E Whittier St, Columbus, Ohio.
