Obituary for C.A. "Pat" Burke
Clarence Arthur Burke, known to all as "Pat" most of his life, died peacefully early on the morning of July 8, 2018. He resided for many years in San Antonio and was a long time member of University United Methodist Church. Upon the death of his loving wife of 56 years, Sydney Neal in 2000, he relocated to Dallas to be near family. He was born in Baton Rouge, LA on October 4, 1921. He proudly served in the U. S. Army Air Corps during WW II and was employed by the National Cash Register Company for 40 years, but most notably Pat was a master communicator in both the spoken and written word. His quick wit and sense of humor was monumental.

He is survived by Kenneth and Dorothy Burke, Kathleen and Robert Lee, and Peggy Lourias as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A private family inurnment will be held at Restland Cemetery in Dallas followed by a Celebration of Life service at Richardson United Methodist Church at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 27, 2018.
