She was a lady with a very strong Christian faith, a love for children, she enjoyed cooking, baking and entertaining anytime she could. She also did home decorating crafts and was a hospice volunteer.

Nellie leaves her son: David (Donna) Fleemon; daughter: Peggy Fleemon; granddaughter: Tonya Long-Diaz (Alex) and great grandson: Ethan Diaz. Sister: Rena (Randy) Wilson. Brothers: Jim (Chris) Wilson, Jeff (Alicia) Wilson and Jack Wilson. Special nieces and nephews: Jack Fleemon, Robert Fleemon, Michael Fleemon, April Johnson-Rochowiak, Trena Johnson-Kaminiski and Matt Wilson.
Receiving of friends will be Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Mayes Mortuary, with funeral services at 11:00 AM, Chaplain Evelyn McNamara will officiate. Burial to follow in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
