Niece of Phineas T. Barnum, Lillian Clark was a Comedianne, Impersonator, Theatre Actress, Composer of the famous song "Pretty Pond Lillies", and owner/operator of the Lily Hall Burlesque Company. She was the daughter of Derenzil Hall - a boarding house owner from Bridgeport, Connecticut - and Sarah Marinda Brisco. She married three times: first, to a little known actor by the name of Richard Quilter; second, to Milt G. Barlow, the world famous "old-time" minstrel; and lastly, to a one Samuel P. Clark, a slate roofer from Hartford, Connecticut.
