Melisa Anne (Scramlin) Ostrander, 51, of Port Huron, passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017.

She was born on March 9, 1966, to Dale Scramlin Sr. and Charlotte Scramlin in Lapeer, Michigan. Missy was raised in Lapper and graduated with the class of 1985.

Melisa was preceded in death by her father, Dale Leon Scramlin Sr. and her sister, Kimberly Sue.

She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Scramlin; husband, Brad William Ostrander; three children: Marjorie Rose Scramlin, Johnathon Leon Scramlin, and Kimberly Anne Ostrander; brother, Dale Leon Scramlin Jr. and a sister, Linda Sue (Kevin) Dykstra and many nieces and nephews and her special friend, Ken Carrier.

Missy's greatest joys in life were God, her children, and her family. She also enjoyed her cats, cooking, music, and painting. She will always be remembered for being the most loving, kind, generous, and kind-hearted person. Missy always displayed a giving heart, willing hands, and loving hugs.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are in the care of Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave., Port Huron.
