Rose was a 1959 graduate of Washington Catholic High School, and was retired from the United States Postal Service. She was a volunteer at St. Vincent DePaul. Rose loved traveling, and square and line dancing. Her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends. Rose was a member of the Friendly Slimmers, and attended Our Lady of Hope.
Those who now cherish Rose's memory include: her daughters, Lisa (Charles) Rousey of Washington, Deborah Thombleson of Montgomery, and Beth Dant of Washington. Rose leaves behind her brother, Robert P. Miles of Washington, and grandchildren: Nick Norris, Paul Rousey, Emmalee Thombleson, and Olivia Dant. Rose had five great-grandchildren.
During her life, Rose mourned the loss of her husband, Paul W. Thombleson, her infant son, James Leo Thombleson, and her brother, Ronald Miles.
Rose will be laid to rest beside her first husband and father of her children, Paul W. Thombleson, in the Bethany Cemetery, 1974 East National Highway 50, Washington.
