George William Brady, Jr. 93, of Sedalia, passed away Friday July 16, 2021, at Bothwell Regional Health Center.

He was born April 28, 1928, in New Franklin, son of the late George William Brady Sr. and Cora A. (Busch) Brady. On June 24, 1951, in Sedalia, he married .

George served his country in the US Army as a Military Police Sergeant.

He was a postal clerk at the Sedalia Post Office and a member of the American Postal Workers' Union. He was also a member of East Sedalia Baptist Church and a past member of Show Me Crafters. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and crafting with Marlene. George could do just about anything and always put his family first.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years, two children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Cora DeWitt and Maurine Brady.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Memorial Park Cemetery, with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Full military honors will be conducted by VFW Post 2591 and US Army.
