Hwy. died: Tuesday, February
21, 2006.
Fuchsia was born November 9,
1915 in Buncombe County where
she had lived all of her life. She was
the daughter of the late Garrett and
Nettie Allen Stone. Also preceding
her in death were her brothers,
Clarence, Coy and Homer Stone
and sister, Pansy Stone.
Surviving is her husband of 64
years George Wilton Arrowood,
daughters, Kathy Rector and
husband, Jack of Taylorsville and
Jean Anderson and husband, J.
R. of Weaverville, son, G. Carroll
Arrowood and wife, Melanie of
Asheville, sisters, Reva Hutchins
of Barnardsville and Wavie Austin
of Black Mountain and a brother,
Enloe Stone of San Antonio, Texas
and grandchildren, Brian Anderson,
April Rice, Ben Arrowood and
Anna Marie Rector and eight great
grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at
11 am, Friday in Dillingham Presbyterian
Church of which she was
a lifelong member with the Reverends
Richard Hicks and Rod Clay
officiating. Burial will be in Haynie
Family Cemetery.
The family will receive friends
from 6 to 8 pm, Thursday at West
Funeral Home, 17 Merrimon Ave.,
Weaverville where the body will
remain until placed in the church
one hour prior to the services.
Flowers are acceptable and
appreciated. Those desiring to
make a memorial contribution
are encouraged to consider: Dillingham
