Judy Dale Adams has gone to be with the Lord on July 15, 2021, with her husband Mike by her side at the Sentara Hospice House. She was born on Nov. 13,1949 in Lawrenceville, VA. The family moved to Norfolk when she was 11 and she graduated from Maury High School in 1968. Judy was very proud to work at CBN for 25 years and retired 3 years ago. She made many lifetime friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Edward Batte Sr.; mother, Daisy Samantha Batte; sister, Eleanor Jane Batte.

She is survived by her husband, Mike Adams; daughter, Kristen Corbett (Adam), son, Tom (Jen); grandchild, Ashton Corbett; brother, Charlie Edward Batte Jr. (Glenda) and her sister, Nancy Hurt.

Judy had an infectious smile, sparkling personality and people fell in love with her when they met her.

"I was the lucky one, and fell in love with her and enjoyed nearly 17 years of marriage together."

The family want to thank Dr. McCollum, Cortney, Dr. O'Grady, Lee Anna, all the nurses at Virginia Beach General and Sentara Hospice House.

Judy was a member of Kempsville Baptist Church for over 20 years, and she made many friends there over those years. On Tuesday, July 20, 2021, there will be a visitation at 10 am at the church followed by a memorial service at 11am with Dr. Kelly Burris officiating.
