Hamilton, Ill., Aug. 29.--A verdict of accidental death was returned by a coroner's jury at an inquest in the Hamilton funeral home here yesterday into the death of Harold Walker. Walker, who Wednesday died in St. Joseph Hospital at Keokuk, Ia., was injured in an automobile crash Saturday evening on the highway west of Carthage.
Walker, who was born at Loraine, April 10, 1913, was driving a light truck east on the highway at the time of the accident. His truck and an automobile collided head-on. All were injured.
Following the inquest, conducted by Coroner J. D. Butler, the body was taken to Loraine, where funeral services and burial will be held. Walker is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Strickler, and step-father, Charles Strickler, of Loraine; two brothers, Leroy Walker of California and Russell Walker of Carthage, and a sister, Mrs. Raymond Howard of Burlington, Ia.
