Barbara Jayne (Boettler) McPherson, age 86, passed away July 16, 2021 at Bethany Nursing Home. She was born January 5, 1935 to her parents, the late, Raymond Louis and Ferne Irene (Kepler) Boettler. Barbara retired from the Hoover Company where she was an executive secretary after over 20 years of service. She enjoyed flower arranging and surrounding herself with her cats and kittens. She and Ken enjoyed motorcycle riding together.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Gene Boettler; and long time companion, Ken McClellan.
Survivors include a son, Scott (Jan) McPherson; daughter, Laurie (Dale) Hartline; grandchildren, Shaye (David) Nak, Hunter McPherson, April McPherson, Leah McPherson, Brian (Kara) Hartline, Michael (Jennifer) Hartline and Jaimie Hartline; two great grandchildren; brother, Louis Boettler and several nieces and nephews.
A Private Graveside Service will be held at Greensburg Cemetery where she will be laid to rest. The family expresses their appreciation to the staff of Bethany Nursing Home and Dr. Elizabeth Baum for the tender, compassionate care given while Barbara was with them.
