He was born September 12, 1933, in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late Emett [sic] and Cola Lott Lee. He graduated from Woolmarket High School and Phillips Business College. Aaron proudly served in the United States Coast Guard and worked for Noram Energy Natural Gas Distribution for 45 years until his retirement. He attended Handsboro Methodist Church.
Aaron was known in his neighborhood for sitting outside and waving to anyone that passed by and especially the children on their way to school. He was a true Southern Gentleman and enjoyed telling a good story.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Esther Lee.
Aaron is survived by his wife of 66 years, Rita Saucier Lee; his daughter, Pamela Deanne Lee; his son, Kelly Aaron Lee; his granddaughter, Ella Grace Lee and her mother, Deann Fontenot, Ella Grace's two sisters, Madelyn and Makenzi; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The family wishes to thank all the family, friends, neighbors, and caregivers who have helped in their own way throughout his illness.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Handsboro Methodist Church Food Pantry, 2333 Demaret Drive, Gulfport, MS 39507.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at RIEMANN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, with a visitation from 1:00 PM until the service.
Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery.
