In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Reed Fenton. One daughter, Sandra Wood and son in law, Wilbur Wood. Five brothers and six sisters.
Betty is survived by; her son, James Fenton and wife Kathy of Brown, WV. Two granddaughters, Tamra Lipscomb and husband Anthony of Lexington, VA and Melinda Harold and husband Danny of Clarksburg, WV. One grandson, James Matthew Fenton and wife Melody of Brown, WV. Three great grandsons; Andrew Cottrill, Caleb and Noah Harold. Three great granddaughters; Courtney Shepherd, Ellie Fenton, and Kenzie Fenton. A stepdaughter, Susie Hammond. As well as, Danny Morris, whom Mr. and Mrs. Fenton raised as their own.
Betty loved to bake and cook. She was strong in her faith.
A private service will be held for family at Dorsey Funeral Home, 701 S. Pike St., Shinnston, WV. Interment will follow at Brown Cemetery.
