Charles "Boltman" Preston Cornwell, 62, of Bluefield, VA, passed away Sunday, July 18, 2021. He was the son of the late Betty J. Cornwell and James H. Cornwell, Sr of Bluefield, VA. He loved telling jokes, fishing and working on vehicles. Charles was of the Holiness faith and believed in God. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his brother; Mark David Cornwell.
He will be missed by his father: James Cornwell, Sr of Bluefield, VA; his children: Linda Lafon and husband, Teddy of Glenwood, WV, Robert Aaron Cornwell of Springville, VA, Heather Branham and husband, Jeremy of Bluefield, WV, Sophia Catron of Bluefield, VA, Valerie Lewis and husband, Clarence of Princeton, WV, Mary Sue Ratcliff of Bluefield, WV and Johnny Ratcliff of Bluefield, VA; lifetime companion: Mary Grace Ratcliff of Bluefield, VA; siblings: Loretta Cornwell of Bluefield, VA, James Cornwell, Jr and wife, Sheila of North Tazewell, VA, Margaret Page and husband, Roger of TX, Judy Page and husband, Robert of Athens, WV, Jonathan Cornwell of Bluefield, VA and Chad Cornwell and wife, Crissy of Springville, VA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
