HEAT CONTRIBUTES TO A DEATH HERE

Gust Sanders, a tailor employed in this city the greater part of the past twenty years, died suddenly Thursday afternoon about five o'clock. He had not been feeling well for the last several weeks and had performed no work for two weeks preceding his death. A hemorrhage occurred about 3:30. Dr. Shaw, who was called to attend him is of the opinion that the extreme heat of the preceding days contributed to the man's death.

Funeral services were held Sunday from the Sundberg undertaking parlors, in charge of Rev. C. A. Carlson of the Methodist church. John Dyer sang. The pallbearers were J. M. Carlson, G. C. Carlson, Chas. Berg, Ora Scott, Chas. Walsth, Ed Nelson. Interment was in the Mt. Hope cemetery.

The deceased was born in Sweden and was 73 years of age. He came to this country many years ago and was employed in Boone, Madrid and other points as a tailor. He was first employed here by the late C. M. Berg and later by Charles Berg.

He is survived by his divorced wife who lives in Boone and by the children who reside in Boone, St. Louis and California.
