Mr. Willie C. "Will" Campbell, 89, husband of the late Mrs. Joy Gray Campbell, entered into rest on Sunday, July 18th, 2021.
He was preceded in death by a son, Austin Joseph Campbell.
Mr. Campbell was born in White Sulfur Springs, West Virginia to the late William and Nellie Campbell.
He proudly and with honor served his country in the Korean War with the United States Army. He was a retired mechanical engineer with Inglett Manufacturing and a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, Augusta, GA. He and his late wife Joy loved camping and fishing.
A crypt side service will be held in Sunset Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, 2648 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville SC 29829 with Rev. Roger Swartz officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the United States Army honor guard.
Left to cherish his memory are his children: Rev. Clayton Campbell and his wife Deborah, of Tomball, TX and Darlene Hanson and her husband Tony, of Beech Island, SC; two grandchildren: Elizabeth Ann Thornton (Jeff) and Jared Lee Hanson (Shelly); five great-grandchildren: Zackary Tyler Homschek, Austin Joseph Hanson, Branwyn Elijah Hanson, Caleb James Cooper, and Hannah Elizabeth Cooper.
