Mildred Crites Abell, 98, died July 19, 2021, at Providence Pointe Healthcare in Paducah, KY. She was born on July 28. 1922, in Senath, MO, daughter of the late Eli and Ruth Crutes.

Visitation will be from 5pm-7pm Thursday, July 22, 2021, at White-Ranson Funeral Home. The funeral mass will be held at 9:30am Friday, July 23, 2021, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Union City, with Father Carl Gregorich officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Paducah, KY at 2pm.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Arnold, John Hurt, Gavin Shore, Vance Shore and Ryan Johnson.

Mrs. worked at Salant and Salant for 20 years and at Walmart for twenty-one years in Union City. She had lived the last few years in Paducah, KY. She married John Abell on October 4, 1939.

She and her husband had three children, Bonnie Hurt (who preceded her in death), Barbara (Larry Don) Baker of Bartlett and Nancy Ray of Paducah. She had seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Abell was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.
