Mary Anne Robertson Abid passed away peacefully at Nathan Adelson Hospice on January 19, 2021 after a brief illness. She was a remarkable sister, mother, grandmother and friend. She lived a life of grace and kindness.

She was born in Spanish Fork, Utah, to Reed and Zella Robertson on September 6, 1939. Her family later moved to Salt Lake City where she graduated from South High School, and she attended the University of Utah studying Elementary Education.

Mary was a skilled artist and her home was filled with many of her beautiful projects. Her creative energy produced many great works that were shared with family and friends. She enjoyed sharing her love of the arts with children. She was a natural teacher blessed with unending patience and compassion. There was never a child that she encountered that didn't instantly feel loved and valued.

Mary was absolutely adored by her family. She was selfless and kind to everyone. She was quick to forgive and her legacy of grace will live on in her family. Her unfailing love and grace will be treasured by her family. She put nothing but love into the world, and that love was reciprocated. Her love was freely given without condition. It was constant and unrelenting. She was unflinching in her loyalty and commitment to loved ones.

She is survived by her daughters Elizabeth (Scott) and Lisa (Bernd); son Sean (Angela); sister Linda. She is also survived by 7 treasured grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, NV.

A memorial service is scheduled for April 2, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Walker Funeral Home in Spanish Fork, Utah. Friends and family are reminded of Ann June Taylor's words about comfort. "Who ran to help me when I fell, And would some pretty story tell, Or kiss the place to make it well? My mother."
