James E. Boughan, 84, of 411 W. Locust died Monday, Aug. 25, 2003, at Graham Hospital.

Born Aug. 15, 1919, in Canton to Archie T. and Mabel Jane Davis Boughan, he married Mary McMahon. He later married Betty Stout on July 1, 1974, in Canton. She survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Joleen (and Kenneth) Keime of Cuba; and two sisters, Elsie Arterburn of Canton and Veda Rupp of Springfield.

A World War II Army veteran, he was a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1984.

He worked in maintenance at International Harvester for 30 years, retiring in 1981.

He was a member of the Eagles Aerie.

Cremation has been accorded, and graveside services with burial of ashes will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
