Harry Eugene Kreger, age 83, of Millerton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at his home after a courageous battle with a brief illness. He was born on December 27, 1937 in Williamsport, PA, a son of Alfred Arthur and Lena Celia (Brown) Kreger. Harry and his wife, Ethel (Osborn) Kreger, celebrated 54 years of marriage on June 24, 2021. He was a veteran in the United States Army having served from 1961-1964 and then attended Williamsport Area Community College from 1966-1967. Harry worked for Kennedy Valve in Elmira, NY doing pattern setup. He was a member of the Millerton United Methodist Church. Harry enjoyed his family, gardening, lawn work, fishing, and hunting.
Harry is survived by his wife; a son, Leonard Kreger of Elmira, NY; two daughters, Valerie (Danny) Young of Horseheads, NY, and Sandra (Aaron) Hulslander of Wellsboro, PA; six grandchildren, Paige Kreger, Destiny Young, Brooke, Kaycee, Madison, and Amelia Hulslander; and a sister, Edith Streck of El Paso, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Walter, Alfred, and Paul Kreger; and three sisters, Alma Jean Mosher, Doris Brion, and Rosella Zelinka.
Friends and family are invited to call on Monday, July 26, 2021 from 1-2pm at Millerton United Methodist Church 5443 Main St. Millerton, PA 16936. A celebration of life will follow at 2pm with Betsy Huels officiating. Burial will take place in Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
