Mike was born August 7, 1948 in Macon, MO, the son of Carl E. and Virginia "Dobbie" (Gander) Baymiller.
He is survived by his children, Derrick (Tonya) Baymiller of Madison, MO, and Sean (Jessica) Baymiller of Monroe City, MO; step-children, Audra Lanpher of Monroe City, MO, James Howell of Monroe City, MO and Joseph Howell of Shelbina, MO; grandchildren, Alaina Strange, Timothy Fisher, Braxton Lanpher, Aaron Plumb, Baylee Lanpher, Jacob Baymiller, Riley Baymiller, Liam, Ian, and Finley Baymiller; great-granddaughter, Haislee Bollow, sisters, Jeanette Cobb and Carla Harris; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike graduated from South Shelby High School in 1966. He served his country in the United States Navy from 1968-1972 during the Vietnam War. He was a class A toolmaker for Diemakers in Monroe City. Mike enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, and building remote control airplanes. One of his greatest joys was spending time with his grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 4 pm to 8 pm at Greening-Eagan-Hayes Funeral Home in Shelbina, MO. The funeral will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, July 30, 2021 at the funeral home in Shelbina. Burial will be held in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Jacksonville, Missouri. Memorials may be made to Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund-Agent Orange.
