Ira Everett Leslie, 79, of Long Fork Road, Piketon, Ohio, passed 9:10 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021 at Adena Regional Medical Center, Chillicothe, Ohio.
Ira was born April 2, 1942, in Newton Township, Ohio, the son of the late Frederick Edgar Leslie and Ruby Elizabeth (Mossbarger) Leslie. On September 11, 1960, he was united in marriage to Patricia Louise (Caudill) Leslie, who survives.
Also surviving are four sons, Austin (Crystal) Leslie, Bradley (Lisa) Leslie, Larry Wayne (Nancy) Leslie and Fred (Lisa) Leslie, six grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, two brothers, Edgar (Pamela) Leslie and Robert (Diane) Leslie and two sisters, Ivy Day and Linda (Larry) Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John Leslie.
Ira was the owner of Leslie Trucking Company, a farmer and a mechanic for Scioto Valley Schools. He was a member of Bethel Chapel CCCU.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at Bethel Chapel CCCU, Piketon with Pastors Larry Moore and Chuck Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Leslie Family Cemetery, Piketon, Ohio.
Family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly.
