Lelia "Belle" Estes, 87, of Parkville, Mo., passed away August 7, 2009. A celebration of life in honor of Belle will be 10 a.m. Monday, August 10, 2009, at White Chapel Funeral Home, Gladstone. Funeral services to follow at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contribution be made to Vineyard Church Food Pantry, 12300 N.W. Arrowhead Trafficway, KC, MO 64165, and/or Harmony Vineyard, 600 N.E. 46th St., KC, MO 64116, please reference Belle Estes in the memo line. Belle was born May 6, 1922, in North KC, Mo., to Arthur and Elizabeth (Brown) Marshall. She was a homemaker for most of her life. She loved to cook, and every Monday evening the entire family would come over to the house for her home-cooked meals. She also loved to fish and play "Skip-Bo". Her front porch was a peaceful place for her. You could find her reading there in her Adirondack chair. She attended both Vineyard Church North as well as Harmony Vineyard Church. She served in various ministries and food pantries. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Belle was preceded into heaven by her parents; husband, Ralph H.
