Miss Scotti L. Brehn, 17, died Sunday.
Born in Myrtle Beach, she was a daughter of Russell Patrick and Ms. Mary Jo Jenkins Brehn. A senior at Conway High school, she was a member of the Six Man Club, F. C. A. S.A.D.D., the National Honor Society, the Quill and Schroll Society for Journalism, Student Council and the International Club. She was sports editor for the school's newspaper, vice president of the French Club and an assistant to Larry Biddle. She was the school mascot, "TIG" and was voted by the Class of 1990 to be "Most Spirited." She was employed by Wave 104 as their mascot. She was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are her parents of Conway, a brother, Jason P. Brehn of Conway; a sister, Miss Katie Jo Brehn of Conway, her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anne Schawland of Lockport, Ill; and her maternal grandparents Mr. & Mrs. William Jenkins of Conway.
Services will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday at Pine Grove Baptist Church, with burial in Graham Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday at Conway High School Main Auditorium for students and faculty. The family will receive friends from 7 pm to 9 pm Tuesday at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Memorials may be made to the Scotti Brehn "TIG" Scholarship Fund in care of Conway High School Educational Foundation.
