Lawrason, Dorothy Ann a 55 year resident of Hawthorne , passed away on Friday, July 21, 2006 in Torrance at the age of 83. Born in Huntington Beach, CA. Dorothy was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and a beloved 2nd grade school teacher for over 41 years. She enjoyed visiting with friends, traveling, and walks along Manhattan Beach. Dorothy is survived by her Nephew, John Kohlmorgan and his Wife Martha, their daughters Jessica and Cali, her Step-son Douglas Lawrason. Dorothy was preceded in death by her Husband, Donald Lawrason, and sister, Maxine Kohlmorgan. A gathering of family and friends is from 4-8P.M. on Monday July 24th at Manhattan Beach White & Day Mortuary 3215 Sepulveda Blvd. Manhattan Beach, CA. Funeral services to be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawthorne on Tuesday, July 25th at 11:00 A.M. with a reception following from 12:00 to 1:00P.M. Internment will follow the reception. Dorothy is succeeded in a wealth of memories and immeasurable adoration by many. She continues to be a role model to those she touched. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
