*Widowed, a farmer by trade, he died in Oxford Junction at the age of 84 years of chronic bright's disease (he'd been ill for six weeks). His medical attendant was Dr. O. R. Salter.
*Asa Fillmore was laid to rest in the Oxford Junction Cemetery in Cumberland County.
