Our community sadly lost a pillar on Tuesday June 8, 2021 when Ms. Sonia Marie Munroe favorably known as "Fay" by her family, passed away at the age of sixty six years old.
Her legacy lives on in the hearts and minds of all she came into contact with. Her contributions to the lives of many include many years of service as a public leader in her religious ministry as a devoted Jehovah Witness. As well as her years spent at Honeywell as a shift supervisor before retiring and transitioning to become a New York City Police Traffic Cop where she gracious retired after giving nearly 20 years of committed service. Ms. Munroe is survived by three brothers, Winston, Trevor, Kenneth and three sisters, Juliet, Barbara and Hope. In addition to a multitude of nieces and nephews, in whom will miss her dearly.
