"Bill Aring, 89, of Kansas City, MO, passed away Saturday, March 15, 2003, at his home. Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, at the Heritage Funeral Home, Parkville, MO. Burial will be in East Slope Memorial Gardens, Riverside, MO.

Bill was born October 25, 1913, near Waldron, MO, to Carl and Polly Aring. Bill married Josephine Schoonover on August 19, 1942 in Hyannis, Mass. Josie and Bill were married for over 60 years. He was a World War II veteran. Bill was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church.

Bill was preceded in death by his brother, Fred. Survivors include his wife, Josie, of the home; two sons, Melvin of Dolan Springs, AZ and Gary of the home; two grandchildren; a sister, Edith Lutte of Platte City, MO; and many nephews and nieces.
