He was a farmer, a building contractor, and was a police officer in Gilmanton for 25 years and in Belmont for 15 years. He was survived by three daughters: Mrs. Mildred F Waite with whom he lived the past 3 years, Mrs. Pauline I. Laflam, and Mrs. Norma O. Bilodeau; 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
