Passed away at Ivy Court in Coeur d'Alene, ID, on November 2, 2007. Bill was born in Washington, D.C. on July 29, 1949 to Charles and Olga Dinneen. He graduated from Dartmouth College in Hanover, NH. Bill participated in the 1972 Summer Olympics in the hammer throw. He lived in San Diego, CA for several years and moved to the Coeur d'Alene area in 1978. Bill worked for Harper Krueger and then Crescent Electric as a salesman. He was a member of Mary Immaculate Queen, Rathdrum, ID. Bill enjoyed softball and loved the area. Bill is survived by his sister Mary Ellen Dinneen of Manhattan, NY and cousin Dr. Roberto Auffant of Spokane, WA. Memorials may be made to Mary Immaculate Queen, 15384 N. Church Rd., Rathdrum, ID 83858. Visitation will be from 5 - 7 P.M. Monday, November 5, 2007 at the English Funeral Chapel in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Rosary service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel. Funeral mass will be 9:00 A.M. Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Mount St. Michael, 8500 N. St. Michael's Road, Spokane, WA.
