It is an imitation of a church organ, being nearly eight feet high. The pipes are perfectly made and highly ornamented, and seem more like real than imaginary. The instrument is richly carved and ornamented throughout, nearly the whole work being done by Mr. Bailey himself. The action was obtained from Cheney & Co., of Portland, and its tone compares favorably with the exterior of the instrument. It is a very costly organ and probably will not find much sale in this locality. Mr. Bailey asks $350 for it."
