Name: J. Todd Adams Heading: Enoree Jonathan Todd Adams, 51, died at his home on January 15, 2011, being ushered into the Lord's presence by loving family and friends, with singing, praying and scripture reading. Todd was afflicted with MS for the past thirteen years but never complained, believing it was the plan for his life by a Sovereign God. He accepted it, using his years to minister to others in pain or trouble. Most of his days were spent in listening to scripture, reading and giving praise that Jesus Christ had conquered his heart. He was loved and will be remembered by many. He leaves a loving, devoted wife, constant companion and caregiver, Lucy Anne Fisackerly Adams, two sons, Lucas Alexander Adams and Jake Edward Adams, his parents, Dr. Jay Edward and Betty Jane Whitlock Adams and in-laws, Reverend William and Annabelle Fisackerly, a large Fisackerly kinship, one brother, Clay Adams and his wife Leah, two sisters, Holly Emmons and husband Thomas, Heather Slattery and husband Rev. William Slattery, and many cousins, nephews and nieces. Todd was born in Missouri on October 22, 1959, adopted, raised in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Georgia. He attended Covenant College, Reformed Episcopal Seminary and received a Bachelor of Divinity degree from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary. His last employment was with W.P. Law Company and was a elder {emeritus} at Redeemer ARP Church. A Celebration and Testament of his life was held at Redeemer Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, Moore on Monday, January 17, 2011 officiated by Reverend William Slattery. The mourning was tempered by the rejoicing that Todd had persevered by God's grace in running his race well. Appreciation is extended to the doctors, nurses, dedicated Hospice workers and friends at Redeemer church, who served Todd and his family throughout his illness and death. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Redeemer ARP Church, Building Fund, Moore, SC An online guest registry is available @www.foresthillsfuneralhome.net Courtesy of Forest Hills Funeral Home, Stribling Memorial Chapel, Woodruff, SC
