Elender Mae Branham, 91, died at 10:10 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2007, at Jerseyville Manor Nursing Home in Jerseyville. Elander was born in Missouri 1916 the daughter of Leonard "Len" and Flora Jane (Britton)Branham.
Elander was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her parents until their deaths. She never married but shared a life long friendship with Louis "Perk" Hunter, he preceded her in death May 15, 1985. Besides her parents and Mr. Hunter she was preceded in death by three sisters, Alberta Ramsey, Nettie Pruitt and Effie Preston; two brothers, Robert "Bob" Henry Branham and Benjamin Lee Branham, her grandparents Benjamin Franklin and Ellender Logan Branham, whom she was named for. She was survived by many neices, nephews and friends.
No services are scheduled, and the body has
