Arthur Thomas Woody passed away December 14, 2007 and was born in Spruce Pine, NC on August 7, 1919. He started Industrial Fire & Safety in 1969, which exists today. He is survived by his wife, Betty Moore Woody; son, Arthur T. Woody II (Chip) and grandson, Gabriel Thomas Woody. Visitation will be on Monday, December 17, 2007 from 3-7 p.m. and funeral service on Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Woodlawn Roesch Patton Dignity Hall. Tom, a man of high character was a member of Al Menah Shrine Temple, Downtown Rotary and Brentwood Baptist Church. The Lucky "T", as he was called, will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as he will live in the hearts he touched.
