Michael Emmett Brown, 74 of Bowie, TX, passed away Thursday, July 29th, 2021.
Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 4th, at Brushy Cemetery in Bowie, TX, with David Hall officiating.
Michael was born November 28, 1946 in Fort Morgan, CO to James and Bonnie (Mundell) Brown. He graduated from West Texas A&M University, and spent most of his career in the insurance agencies. On August 5, 1967, Michael married Shannon Jean Petty in Breckenridge, TX. He enjoyed working on his farm and spending time with his family, and Michael dearly loved his dog Buzz.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Michael is survived by his wife Shannon Brown; daughters Wendy Slade and husband James and Randi Seigler and husband Jeff, all of Bowie; brother Jimmy Brown and wife Marie of Colorado Springs, CO; sister Vicky Younkin of Lone Tree, CO; grandchildren Stormy Warren and husband Phillip, Dustin Minnick, Randy Minnick, Dylan Slade, Texie Robbins and husband Taylor and Ty Seigler; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and many special cousins.
