Leonard Weston
55, a lifelong resident of Qulin, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2006, at his residence.
Mr. Weston was born April 22, 1951, at Scott Air Force Base in Belleville, Illinois. He
was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed working on old
cars.
On Aug. 18 1972, he married Gwendolyn Ledbetter. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Richard Harris and wife, Hope, of Qulin and Lenny
Weston and wife, Wendy, of Poplar Bluff; one daughter, Shelly Laney and husband,
Jake of Grant's Pass, Ore.; two brothers, John and Bruce Lucas, both of Qulin; two
sisters, Sharon Weston of Qulin and Cathy Carroll and husband, Chester, of Poplar
Bluff; and sox grand children, Megan Thompson, Sarah Hardin, David Laney, Rebecca
Harris, Dylan Weston and Halie Weston.
He is preceded in death by father and stepmother, Ralph and Mary Weston, his mother
and stepfather, Betty and Jay Lucas; one brother, Randy Weston; and a nephew, Kevin
Weston.
Visitation will be at 6 p.m. Saturday at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Qulin. The
funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary
Hancock officiating. Burial will be at Qulin Cemetery
