He was employed with I.P. L for 37 years as a multi foreman. He was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Speedway Church of the Nazarene and a volunteer with the American Heart Association.
Survivors include: wife, Bernice Neighbors Hartsock; daughter, Sue F. Hatfield, Karen L. Leonard, Anita J. Roseberry, Bettie Lou Hartsock; sons, Joseph A, Samuel R. and Kevin M. Hartsock; sisters, Doris Fisher; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by son, Glenn A. Hartsock and first wife, Betty J. Soshe Hartsock.
