He lived a majority of his life in Bradley County and was a veteran of the United States Navy. Joel never met a stranger, helping and caring for everyone he could, loved his family, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandgirls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny and Billy Bryant; and brothers-in-law, Steve Wilson and Gene Flowers.
Left behind to cherish Joel's memory are his children, Joey and Jenny Bryant and Prissy and David Stampe; granddaughters, Addison, Millie, Morgan, Anna, Ayla, and Autumn; sisters, Peggy Flowers and Jayne Wilson; several extended family and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life and Home going for Charley Joel Bryant, Sr. will be held at 12 noon on Monday, August 9, 2021 from the Cleveland Chapel of Companion Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens
