Betty, of Plainview Community was born on July 7, 1944, in Oakdale to the union of Preston & Rose Jeffers and entered eternal rest on July 31, 2021, in Alexandria, Louisiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gordon Strother; two sons, Hilton & Richard Dean Richard; one infant daughter; one sister, Bernice Richard; two brothers, Preston Jr. & Huey Jeffers.
Those left behind to cherish her memories are two sons Alan & Shelton Richard; stepson Chet and wife Nicol Strother; daughter Kelly Richard; stepdaughter Dena Estrada; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
