Funeral services will be held at 10 a m. Monday for Henry Lawrence Marsh, 89. of 17-555 Corkhill Rd.. Desert Hot Springs, who died Wednesday in Desert Hospital following a short illness. A native of Michigan, he had been a Desert Hot Springs resident for 28 years. He had been a resident of California for 65 years. He is survived by a son, McBridge M. Butterfield of Chicago; two sisters, Belle Vincent and Irene Marsh, both of Manistee, Mich.; and three grand children. The services will be held in the Desert Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Rev Fdgar Smith, pastor of Community United Methodist Church of Desert Hot Springs. Interment will be in Desert Memorial Park Marsh was a retired ranch foreman for Leffingwell Ranch of Whittier. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made U the public library's talking books program for the blind ir Palm Springs.
