Ruth Mae Carrington was born on August 15, 1936, in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Ernest Everett & Mary (Trager) Carrington. She received her education from the Moline Schools. She was united in marriage to Russell Gunther Seehase on May 24, 1975, in Rock Island, Illinois. Ruth had previously worked as a cook at an elementary school and as a C.N.A. for the disabled. She had lived for many years in Rock Island and Oelwein. Ruth was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Oelwein and the Oelwein V.F.W. Auxiliary.
