Born February 2, 1936, Keith Arnold Hall, 80, of Roanoke, soared into the sky November 2, 2016, after battling renal cell carcinoma, Parkinson's and other ailments with all his might.
Keith is predeceased by his parents, James Edward (Ed) Hall, Jr., and Eva Coyner Hall; brother-in-law Stuart Turner, his sister, Mary Ann Hall and his cousin-in-law, Thomas Richards (LtCol RET).
Keith is survived by his husband, Wayne Slusher; his daughter, Stephanie Southerly and her husband, Rick of Harrisonburg VA; his son, Keith (Kip) Hall II, and his wife Kathy of Harrisonburg, VA; grandsons, Addison Hall of Richmond, VA and Isaac Hall and his wife, Brittany, of Harrisonburg, VA. He is also survived by his brothers who are twins, Terry and Jerry Hall, and their respective wives, Shirley and Kathleen, all of Clifton Forge, VA and his sister, Ernestine Turner of Columbia, SC. Diane Richards of Charlottesville, VA ; Carol Runyon and her husband Al of Roanoke, VA; Fred Hall of Pulaski, VA; Melissa Robertson and husband, Jim, Roanoke, VA; Judy and David Hagan, Christiansburg, VA, also survive him. Nieces and nephews: T.L. Keith graduated from Clifton Forge High School and furthered his education at Dunsmore Business College. He also served in the U. S. Navy and afterwards worked in the banking industry for many years, then as an insurance agent and most recently as the executive director for 17 years with a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting persons with housing needs. Keith's health care providers are numerous and he was so appreciative, beyond words, to each and every one of those who provided him with any aspect of his care. As Keith wished, there will be a memorial service November 19, 2016 at half past 1pm at Christ Episcopal Church located at 1101 Franklin Road SW, Roanoke, VA. A private internment will be held at a later date.
