Patricia A. "Pat" Lannon Cunningham of Newtown, died peacefully on Friday, August 6, 2021 at her home with her husband and children by her side. She was 69 years old.
She was the beloved wife of 49 years to William J. Cunningham.
Born in Darby, PA she was the daughter of the late James and Anne Ball Lannon.
Pat was a proud graduate of St Laurence Grade School and Archbishop Prendergast High School. She loved Ocean City, NJ, her friends and most importantly her family. She always exuded kindness towards others especially the very young and very old. She always found joy in doing for others and in never forgetting anyone's birthday, first communion, graduation or wedding. Her crochet needle was always at the ready for a new blanket when anyone announced they were having a baby. Her faith drove everything that she did. Her love for her Husband, Children, Grandchildren and Father-in-Law was without measure.
In addition to her loving husband, Pat is survived by her three children; Jennifer Yeats and her husband James of Havertown, William J. Cunningham Jr. and his wife Susan of Newtown, and Kevin Cunningham and his wife Jillian of Ponte Vedra, FL, her sister, Mary Hawkins and her husband Robert of Havertown, her three brothers; James Lannon and his wife Susan of Brigantine, NJ, Robert Lannon and his wife Jacqueline of Havertown, Timothy Lannon and his wife Maryellen of Broomall, PA and sister in law Terri Lannon of Aston, PA. She is also survived by her 5 dear grandchildren: Bridget, James, Colin, Matthew and Charlotte.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewings on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm in the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro, PA 18954 and on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM until her Funeral Mass 11:00 AM in St. Andrew Catholic Church, 81 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940. Her interment will be held privately at a later date in St. Denis Cemetery, Havertown, PA.
