Son of Johan Peter Faust and Rosanna Albrecht. Husband of Barbara Kivett m. 14 NOV 1778 Orange Co, NC. The original name was spelled "Faust". Over the years the name changed to "Foust".

My research shows that his father was Johannes Heinrich Phillip Faust, not Peter. From the files of Linda
