Mrs. Juanita K. “Nita” Beard died Monday, March 2, 1981, at Doctor's Memorial Hospital. She was 63, a native of Laurel Hill and a resident of Brusly.

Survived by her husband, Vergil S. Beard, Brusly; a daughter, Mrs. Jimmie (Fran) Brumfield, Baton Rouge; five sisters, Mrs. Carl V. Dawson, Jackson, Mrs. T.W. Murphy, Kentwood, Mrs. B.J. Pendas and Mrs. W.W. (Billie) Copponex, both of Baton Rouge, Mrs. Erma Frame, Arizona; a grandson, Randy Brumfield.

Preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Grace Presbyterian Church Builder's Fund, Joor Road.
